Originating in India, the Saboo family placed its roots in the world of Gems and Jewels as early as 1935. The company started with trading and manufacturing of rough gemstones under the guidance of Mr. Chand Bihari Saboo. His sons, Rajendra and Surendra Saboo took over the baton and carried the family name forward and today are one of the finest jewelry and gemstone houses, having expanded their operations abroad with head-office in Hong Kong, and sales operations in Asia, Middle-East, Europe and USA. The Saboo world of unique designs is inspired by nature and architecture. Rajendra and Surendra Saboo started their journey in 1980, searching for exclusive gemstones and making them into jewels for high end retailers in Jaipur. Inspired by exquisite Gems and converting the same into impeccable pieces of jewels is the forte of the family, lead by the creative director, Mr. Surendra Saboo. In each jewellery piece the gemstones play protagonist, through Saboo’s close association with prominent mines from across the globe which gives him the advantage to have a first-hand choice over exceptional gemstones. These are then transformed into exquisite shapes and cuts by Saboo’s in house lapidary artisans. Today, a Saboo piece in its itself is a piece of art. No piece leaves Mr. Saboo’s hands till it has reached perfection, where he personally supervises the the minutest details.
